TODAY TONIGHT PRESENTER - CHANNEL SEVEN PERTH
Monika Kos is one of Channel Seven's most popular media identities with over 26 years of news experience to her credit.
In March 1989, Monika was employed by radio station 6PR in a number of specialist roles including drive-time presenter and news reader.
Monika's move in to television in 1990 saw her join the Seven Nightly News team's strong line-up of exemplary journalists.
In 1997 Monika took up the position as host of Perth's only locally produced current affairs programme - Today Tonight. This new career path has enabled her to become one of Perth's most highly respected and in depth journalists.
Career highlights include interviews with Prime Minister John Howard, Opposition Leader Kim Beazley and One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson.
"Monika's a consummate professional, a hard working journalist who keeps across important issues. She's versatile, with a keen interest in all aspects of current affairs, and one of the few people who can mix with the Prime Minister, and at the same time with the average family," says Mario D'Orazio, former Producer of Today Tonight and Managing Director of Channel Seven Perth
Monika is married to Grant Willesee (son of Terry) and has two sons.
She can be seen presenting Today Tonight, 6.30pm every weeknight, on Channel Seven.
